Primark and Boots haul!

Yesterday I had a little trip to town with my mum. We had been planning to go for a while, but never got round to it. Plus it's my friends birthday on Saturday, so if we didn't go shopping I wouldn't of been able to buy her anything and that would not go down well. Whilst shopping I saw quite a few things that I liked and therefore spent quite a lot of money...

I'll start with the items I purchased from Primark (Just to warn you; this haul is going to have no structure, what so ever)

This blouse is my favourite! My favourite compared to what, I'm not so sure, but I love it! It's sheer, so a vest top is needed under it and it has black poka dots all over it. I actually wore this yesterday to a meal with my mum. I wore it with a black skater skirt and a leather jacket, and not to sound too vain, but it looked quite nice, I'm planning on wearing it to my friends party for her birthday. The blouse cost £12 and I don't think price was too bad considering it would of been about £10 dearer in somewhere like Topshop or River Island.

Primark actually have a lot of maxi skirts in at the moment and this one was definitely my favourite! It comes with a little brown belt. I've noticed that quite a few Primark products come with belts, not that I'm complaining you never know when you're going to need a belt, haha! I can't decide what the material is and I don't know what to compare the feel of he skirt to, as it's quite different. The skirt cost £10 which again, I don't think is that bad, as it could of been a lot dearer.

These shoes aren't great, but I will probably only wear them once. The only reason that I bought these is because my school is having a fancy dress day on Wednesday (27th March) and I'm going as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, my school have banned any type of heels, so flats it is. I was looking for sparkly shoes, but I couldn't find any, so these had to do. These only cost £4 so that was another reason why I got these, they're quite cheap.

These are what I got my friend for her birthday. I like them and would buy them for myself, but it's not my birthday tomorrow is it? The purse cost £5 which is quite cheap considering a purse that my mum liked in River Island cost £17. The bracelets cost £2 which I think is a really good price considering you get four that's like 50p per bracelet.

Simple is one of my favourite brands for skincare. I have sensitive skin, so simple is a safe brand for me as they are kind to sensitive skin and are brilliant products. I was really surprised when I found these in Primark and when I saw that they are a pound I had to buy them. The product on the left is a 'Hydrating light moisturizer' I put this on before I went to bed and when I woke up my skin was feeling very smooth, so a thumbs up for that. The product on the left is 'Refreshing facial wash' I haven't tried this yet, but I'm sure that it will be great.

I have started wearing foundation and I've been pretty desperate for a brush that doesn't cost over £10, as all of the brushes that I've seen have cost a fortune. This brush is both a foundation and concealer brush, it cost £1.50 and it feels really soft, I first thought that it would feel quite hard, but it feels alright, I can't wait to use this.

I never thought of buying nail varnish from Primark, but I do have a love for nail varnish. The shade on the far left is 'Peppermint' the got the name spot on, as the best way to describe the colour is... peppermint. The middle colour is Mulberry' which is a dark purple I admit that it's a winter shade, but I couldn't resist. The colour on the far right is 'Au naturel' which is a peachy/brown colour.

(I did buy some other things from Primark, but that was only some socks, tights and a white tank top. I didn't think that these were worth showing)

Now onto boots. Boots have an offer on, so all the beauty stuff is 3 for 2, so I went a little bit crazy. This is the one time that I didn't have may card as well, so I missed out on a good 100 points.

You have no idea on how long I have wanted this. I haven't used a BB cream and I've heard a few good things about this, I got the shade light and it was the last one left in this shade. I don't really like buying the last one, as you never know if it's been opened or not, but I decided to get it anyway. It costs £7.99 and you can check it out here

Ever since these nail varnishes came out I wanted to try one. It's the textured effect nail varnish by Barry M in the colour 'Kingsland Road' I didn't know what colour to get and this light shade of pink looked too cute, so I chose it. I haven't used it yet, but I've seen pictures of what it's supposed to look like and I can't wait to use it. It costs £3.99 and you can check it out here

I didn't expect to be going home with this, but I liked it too much to leave behind. It's the lasting finish 1000 kisses in 510 kiss me. I did wear this for the meal with my mum yesterday, the colour is a deep pink/red. I can not however give a review, as my lips were extremely chapped, so the product wasn't great. About two or three coats are needed to get an opaque coverage. It costs £6.99 and you can check it out here

This is another product that I wasn't expecting to buy. I'm running out of shampoo and have ran out of conditioner, so I was due another purchase, but I didn't expect to buy these. The product in the middle is hairspray and I do need hairspray as the one I have has ran out. I can't wait to use all of these products, as I love using new products on my hair. The shampoo and the conditioner were £5 each, but on the website the price is higher you can check out the conditioner here and the shampoo here. You can find the hairspray here. All three of these products are for blonde hair, if you can't tell by the packaging.

This little beauty was on a stand near the till with a ton of other colours from the same brand. The colour is Pinky glitter (I'm not sure if it's pink or pinky because the website says pink and the bottle says pinky) and it's from Sinful colors, so I'm guessing it's an American brand. It only cost £1.99 so it was a steal! You can check it out here

February Favourites

February hasn't been a bad month for beauty products. I've tried new products and even rekindled my love for some older ones. These are the products that I have been loving through February!

Soap and Glory - Body wash - Sugar Crush LINK

I have been using this product for a couple of months now. I bought it in December and have used it every time that I've had a shower since then! Considering the amount of times that I've used it, I still have a lot of it left, it's lasted a lot longer than I thought it was going to. The smell is also great, my mum and I both love it! The soap also leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft, which is great.

The Body Shop - Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Mist LINK

I've been loving this! This just smells great, I wear it most days and it's just a nice scent it's light, fruity and floral. It's not an overpowering smell, but a couple of people have noticed it and commented on how nice it smells. I bought this at the start of February and I've used it that much that most of it has gone; I've used at least half of it!

The Body Shop - Born Lippy in Pomegranate LINK

I have been using this product everyday since I bought it around the start of the month, and it's definitely a favourite. I suffer with chapped lips a lot, especially in the winter and thanks to this they haven't been that bad, once my lips started to get chapped I would put this on every morning and within two days it would be cleared up. It also leaves a red tint to lips and tastes great!

The Body Shop - Vitamin E Moisture Cream LINK

I haven't had this product for a long time, but I love it! It's great for dry skin, as that is the reason that I bought it because I was getting really dry skin on my face and this cleared 99% of it up over night! It also leaves skin feeling soft and smooth and not sticky. When applying you don't need to use a lot, I dip my finger into the cream and if I do that about four times, I've used enough for my whole face. See my full review here link

Primark - Nail Varnish Remover Wipes

My mum bought me these back after she had been shopping. They come in a pack of two and are great! When I first saw them, my first thoughts were that they were going to be terrible and that it was a waste of a £1, but I tried them and they are brilliant. By far the best nail varnish remover wipes around. I prefer using wipes and I've tried a lot of brands and only found one that I liked, but then this came along! These are just amazing. The wipes are only little, but I managed to only use two (One for each hand) These also smell great, I hate the smell of nail varnish remover, but these don't smell like nail varnish remover at all.
